I'm not quoting Bob Dylan, just checking into LJ once again to make sure it's not deleted. I'm not sure how my other empty accounts manage to avoid deletion year after non-checking-in year.
I think I really want 2012 to be the year I terminate my FB account. And the more I use FB the more I realize how ultra conservative my friends are. I guess I realize now more than ever I don't know how I'm friends with so many crazy ass, let's keep CHRIST in Christmas people! Argh! How have I lived this long in this red state???
I'll embrace LJ - where I don't know who you are (well, except *you*) and I like it that way! So let's keep posting random crap while listening to bad music and be happy ya?

Finally logged in after a couple of years (?). Seems about my average for all things social media these days. :)
To continue the long line of plaidboy tradition, I should be preparing for work and instead I'm goofing off on LJ and reading up on manga. Times never change.
I think I'm going to post pics on here in the future. Hopefully it will get me in the habit of actually off loading the pictures in my cameras, I guess we'll see.

I'm feeling the stress. It's like a thousand pound pressure on my shoulders and instead of dealing with it I'm diving full force into plotting "Plan B". Ever-ready with the escape plan! Although, I found out yesterday my name was probably announced at the December graduation ceremony. I totally could have walked!!!! So at least there's the option of walking the stage and doing the photo op for the family this semester if things take a turn for the worse in a certain filthy math class.
On to nicer things... The new bed? Terrific! Springs don't poke me in the back anymore! I'm feeling spoiled! And it's so freaking tall! I actually can not touch the ground if I sit on the edge. As long as I don't fall out of it! hahaha...huh. That would actually hurt, the drop is pretty high now.
Okay, whew, what else? Work is work. ("Talk is talk and comfort is comfort!" - read Cat & Girl. READ IT!) My computer routinely crashes once a day now. It's brilliant. The thing is 2 years old and on it's 2nd HD. Great workmanship!
Happy early St. Patrick's Day! Very early but midterms are going to kill me and afterward I promised myself a night of drunken debauchery - deserved or not! :D

I honestly had something to write about when I began in LJ but I got distracted by all the new shiny things in LJworld. I guess I should visit more often. This was shiny and distracted me too!

I'm working under a midnight deadline for my Cold War paper and I'm entirely uninspired. So what better time to update my journal than RIGHT NOW???
Beppo this photo is more for you than anyone else at the moment.

It's been awhile and lots of fun things have happened since the end of semester, like the beginning of the Summer semester! WOO! So much fun it could harm you! I'm about to go into the two week push for finals and I'm dreading that one particular class for fear it will ruin my graduation plans. Math I shake my fist at thee!!!
Anime Expo was fun. Choco and I stuck to our plan of visiting the Artist Alley first (until we found the 2nd one that was hidden away) and scored some cutesy drawings. The Dealer's room was huge as usual, noisy as usual (that singing contest should be held outside) and disorganized as usual. Thanks to Choco's amazing luck I managed to secure all of the Maria-sama figurines. My yuri tendency knows no bounds! I was very tame this year and kept most of my money (apart from books but ch').
People who carry blaring stereos around on their back, why do you do that? I could only respect you if you went old school and carried the big boombox but otherwise - invest in some headphones!!!! I'm short, that freaking backpack/stereo combo you carry around is level with my fucking ears! I don't want to hear your wacky anime music 'cause guess what? I'm at a fucking anime convention! WE GET IT! You love anime, I GET IT!!!
But I met some fellow Texas residents in the yaoi panel line and they were entertaining. This really wasn't going to be a post about Expo but I guess it turned into that. I took a few pictures, all of which I'll post next time so Beppo can see the loverly stalker-esque picture I took for her. She who was in OHIO during the Con! LAME!!
Now to finish that stupid paper!

Semester is OVERRRRRRRRR! Happy Good Times Part One have officially started!!!
...and good luck to Beppo on her finals this week...
GRADUATION IS NEARLY UPON US COMRADES!
Ha! I typed Comrages first. That is an awesomely appropriate new word! It shall enter the Pantheon of our Lexicon arm and arm with Uniclops! (I'm beginning to think a Uniclops is not a person at all but a one-eyed Unicorn)
YAY! I'm totally not sure what's happening here!

If I'm posting to my LJ I must be avoiding a term paper deadline!! Truff!
Finally met with my Advisor and all lights are green for December graduation! :D It's been a long time coming but YAY!!! It turns out I probably DO need to take one course over the summer but that's still not 100% for sure. Keep your fingers crossed that I am able to get all the classes I need when I register! December really doesn't seem so far away!!!
Strange happenings (<-- ha) at work this week. I don't like working in a tension-filled environment and that's what it has become. I stick to my cubicle and leave for school and busy myself with internet surfing/working the rest of the time. I don't want this bad vibe to filter into my boss' office since he'll need to approve my inconvenient work schedule for the Fall. He'll complain about it but WHATEVER!
Good to see Dallas make it to the playoffs. I'm such a non-hockey fan these days, I only knew they were still in the running by reading a blurb in the paper by chance. So, GO STARS! Um, GO ROCKETS! I think they're in some sort of playoffs too.
I realize now I have never finished playing Enzai. Or pretty much every game I own except Katamari. Dang yo! Something to add to the Summer Happenings List!
My hair is another shade lighter courtesy of my visit to the Salon yesterday. Weeeeee!

Very short entry since I should be writing a paper and we know how much I love procrastinating!!! The Tman was very depressed today, it would take a very non-observant person to miss his mopiness all over the office. It was like "bring your inner-emo kid to work day".
I got home last night and discovered the reason. His wedding invitation - those must have been sent out over the weekend. I bet he felt the noose tighten just ever so much.
Apart from that and the latest volume of Let Dai (why am I so intrigued by Dai's violence?? He's a scary guy!), there was a great package from the University of Nottingham about their post-graduate programs sitting on my bed. I can't remember requesting this so it was a nice surprise. Now if only the University of Liverpool would randomly send me a package that would make my life.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVE TO THE ONE AND ONLY BEPPO! LOOKOUT! Age is gaining on you! But wisdom has gotten sidetracked by the gaggle of gorgeous boys. ;p
